Peak+ officiants are legally ordained ministers (Minister ID #1211714) licensed to perform ceremonies in all 50 U.S. states. This agreement outlines the scope, responsibilities, and legal boundaries of officiant services.
Services include: pre-ceremony consultation, custom ceremony script drafting (up to two revisions), officiation of the ceremony, and — where required by jurisdiction — signing and filing of the marriage license.
It is the couple's sole responsibility to obtain a valid marriage license from the appropriate jurisdiction before the ceremony date and to deliver it to the officiant prior to the ceremony. Peak+ will file the executed license within statutory deadlines but is not responsible for jurisdictional errors, expired licenses, or ineligible couples.
Officiants hold valid ordination credentials. Some jurisdictions (e.g., select counties in Virginia, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania) impose additional requirements. Peak+ verifies local requirements in advance and will notify the couple in writing if additional filings or a civil officiant are required.
A 30% non-refundable deposit reserves the date. Balance is due 7 days before the ceremony. Cancellations within 30 days of the ceremony forfeit all payments. Postponement is permitted once at no additional fee (subject to availability).
Ceremonies within 40 miles of the officiant's home base include travel. Beyond that, mileage is billed at IRS standard rate; overnight travel (destinations >150 miles) requires accommodations booked by the couple.
One 60-minute rehearsal is included with the Signature and Bespoke tiers. Additional rehearsals are $200/hour.
We officiate ceremonies across faith, secular, interfaith, LGBTQ+, and cultural traditions. Peak+ reserves the right to decline content that promotes hate, discrimination, or violence.
You may record the ceremony for personal use. Commercial or broadcast use requires written consent. Peak+ requests non-mandatory attribution on wedding programs and websites.
Peak+'s liability for any claim relating to officiant services is limited to the fees paid for those services. We are not liable for legal recognition of the marriage in jurisdictions where couples fail to meet local eligibility requirements.
